The Sabac-Loznica highway is part of the Ruma-Sabac-Loznica highway construction project.
Vui pointed out that the Ruma – abac route will be ready by the end of September next year, which means that in a year and a half the journey from Belgrade to abac will take a maximum of 45 minutes, and from Belgrade to Loznica – one hour and 10 minutes.
“It will additionally increase the entire Podrinje region for tourism and everything else. It will significantly strengthen Macva,” said Vui and announced that the company “Minth”, which employs about 500 people in Loznica, will also come to Sabac.
He recalled that Adient, which employs more than 1,300 people, also works in Loznica. “We brought all these factories, but the wages in Loznica and Sabac are pretty low. We need to work on that, to bring in another investor, and a higher rank, in order to raise the wages,” Vucic said.
He was informed that 66% of works have been completed on the Sava Bridge within the framework of the Ruma-Sabac-Loznica expressway and highway construction project, which is also being carried out by Azerbaijani AzVirt.
The president said that “AzVirt” is working well and everything is ending on time.
“If we manage to finish everything in Loznica in September 2024, it’s really incredible. Nobody dreamed of it. Then, it remains to be seen what we will do for Zvornik, towards Ljubovija and Bajina Basta, to build a highway , to build this region, although it is difficult because there are not many places along the Drina,” Vucic said.
He added that after the completion of works on the Ruma – Sabac – Loznica road, the road from Loznica to Novi Sad will take one hour, unlike the current two hours.
“If you finish this in time, that’s a good thing, you deserve a medal,” Vucic said. Vui said history is building, as he said, miles of new hopes and perspectives, as this great infrastructure project will mean accelerated progress in this part of Serbia.
Quoting Milorad Pavi that the type of road he chose is more important than the goal itself, Vui said that building the road is hard work and that unlike many who mainly promise destruction , he still promises construction.

“We are building and strengthening a stable state. And the promised progress is there, and this great infrastructure project is giving Macva, Jadar, a better life, making people’s lives easier, we will attract investors more easily, which means higher salaries and pensions,” Vucic said.
He added that the value of the complete project, Ruma-Sabac-Loznica, is 467.5 million euros.
“These are miles of new hopes and perspectives. It is a path in the right direction, towards general, economic, cultural progress, development in all fields, towards the faster realization of the free movement of goods, people, services and capital,” Vucic said. .
New infrastructure projects for people here means a better life, so they can stay where they were born, where their grandfather is, Vui said and thanked the citizens, because as he said, without their dreams, their support and their patience, they could not have implemented difficult reforms, which stabilized public finances.
“They will see here how this beauty grows and how Belgrade and Novi Sad are getting closer. Today we are building history here, it means the accelerated progress of western Serbia,” Vucic concluded.
