Synchrony Launches Latinx Executive Alliance, a Coalition Dedicated to Promoting Latinx Talent in American Businesses | New

STAMFORD, Connecticut., October 4, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Synchrony (NYSE: SYF), a leading consumer financial services company, today announced the Latinx Executive Alliance, a coalition of senior executives and business leaders from different companies, industries and sectors, dedicated to collectively helping Latinx employees to advance in American business. The Alliance will organize its first virtual event on October 18e of 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. ET.

According to the 2019 U.S. Census, the Latinx community is the fastest growing demographic in the United States and yet, a recent corporate governance study from the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) reports that if the Latinx community is 18%1 of the population, Latinx talent holds only four percent2 executive positions in Fortune 500 companies.
