Serbia’s real net wage increased in July

Serbia’s average net salary rose 4.4% year-on-year in July, following an annual increase of 5.4% in June, the Belgrade-based Central Statistics Office (SORS) said in a statement.
In monthly comparison, the average net salary fell 0.7% in real terms in July, after falling 0.2% in June. In July, the average gross monthly salary was RSD 89,330, while the net salary was RSD 64,731 (EUR 550).
The median take-home pay in July was RSD 49,999, which means that 50% of the working population received a salary up to this amount.
