The amusing antics of cricketers on the pitch are nothing new. One such incident caused players and fans to burst into laughter during the ICC Men’s European T20 World Cup qualifier between Serbia and Isle of Man.

Serbian pacemaker Ayo Mene-Ejegi’s hilarious celebration has gone viral on social media platforms. After each wicket he took, Ejegi celebrated by performing summer jumps and lying flat on the ground.

ICC shared the video clip of the bowler’s celebration on their official Instagram account. “Serbia’s Ayo Mene-Ejegi wicket celebration,” the caption read. The video garnered over 1.5 million views and several humorous comments.

Battling first, the Isle of Man side managed to put up a decent 165 points on the board. Top-notch hitter George Burrows was IOM’s leading scorer with 60 runs on 46 deliveries. He was beaten cleanly by

In response, Serbia could only manage to score 97 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Isle of Man secured a 68-point win to knock Serbia out of qualifying.

The two teams faced off in a group of five teams, dominated by the Isle of Man. They lost the league title in the final after losing to Italy. As Serbia finished
