Italian SIAD opens Istrabenz technical gas plant in Serbia
BELGRADE (Serbia), September 24 (SeeNews) – Italian company SIAD has announced that it has opened a technical gas production plant and distribution center at its Serbian subsidiary Istrabenz Plini Beograd in Simanovci, near Belgrade.
The new plant will enable Istrabenz Plini to supply and distribute technical gases throughout Serbia and to respond quickly and efficiently to customer needs, SIAD said in a statement on Thursday.
“We have the know-how and the experience, and with the new petrol station in Serbia we have also acquired the necessary capacity to meet the needs of the Serbian national market. We see great potential and opportunities in the Serbian market and I believe that with this investment we can contribute to the development of the technical gas market in Serbia, ”said Istrabenz Plini Managing Director Aldo Srabotic.
Last year, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) announced that it had provided a loan of 7 million euros ($ 8.2 million) to finance the project, which will allow Istrabenz Plini to fulfill gas cylinders with industrial gases on site instead of buying filled industrial gas. cylinders from its parent company in Slovenia.
