Inter Milan are reportedly close to signing ACF Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic, with Tottenham’s rumored target being a replacement for Milan Skriniar, who is also on Antonio Conte’s radar.

According to FC Inter Newsthe Nerrazurri have agreed personal terms with the Serie A centre-back as Skriniar closes in on a move to PSG, with the Slovak defender likely to join the Ligue 1 champions in a deal worth £52million.

According to FC Inter News, Milenkovic could cost the San Siro side €15m (£12m) as Tottenham now look set to suffer a double whammy in the transfer market, with Spurs interested in a move. both by the Fiorentina defender and Skriniar, with Fabio Paratici trying to sign the centre-back last summer.

While Conte has already made three signings this summer, centre-back is a position that needs a major addition with Davinson Sanchez and Joe Rodon set to leave this summer, and Milenkovic or Skriniar could have been perfect for the north London side.

However, he is now back to the drawing board for Tottenham with Milenkovic set to sign for Inter and Skriniar now on the verge of joining PSG, two deals which could be massive blows for both European sides given the quality of the two defenders.

Inter are usually one of the biggest players in a given transfer window, and this summer is proving no different with their pending loan signing of Romelu Lukaku and the departure of Skriniar, but the replacement of their Star defender by Tottenham target Milenkovic is an excellent deal from the Italian giants.

The Serbian is one of the best at his job in Italy, and with Inter on the verge of securing a £12m deal for Milenkovic, the signing ticks a lot of boxes for what the San side have. Siro needs this summer with Skriniar heading to PSG. .
