Club talk to West Ham about securing Hammers star loan

Istanbul giants Besiktas are currently in talks with West Ham United over a loan move for left-back Arthur Masuaku, according to the Daily Express.
Masuaku has made 24 appearances in all competitions in the 2021/22 season, including three for the Hammers Under-23 side, and registered one goal and one assist each.
The DR Congo international is under contract with the Hammers until the summer of 2024, with two more years optional.
David Moyes’ side are currently in pursuit of Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic, a player the Hammers know well after their elimination to Die Adler in the Europa League semi-finals last season.
To make room in the squad for the Serbian international, Masuaku will most likely be sacrificed and is set to join Besiktas on loan this summer.
Besiktas recently lost young left-back Ridvan Yilmaz to Rangers and are looking to bring in the relatively experienced Masuaku to bolster that position.
Masuaku played a minor role in West Ham’s run to the Europa League semi-finals, with Aaron Cresswell and Benjamin Johnson favored over him.
The 28-year-old left-back hopes to get some regular playing time in Turkey after the move, just in case that happens.
