Eligible Chase bank card holders have an extended time frame to earn their card’s signup bonus.
The three-month extension applies to bank card accounts open from Jan.1 to March 31, 2020, confirms a consultant from Chase. This means that these eligible prospects now have a total of six months from the date they opened their account to earn a welcome bonus, slightly compared to the standard three months.

Chase began notifying eligible cardholders the week of April 13, 2020. The extension follows an identical transfer by American Specific earlier this month, in response to disruption resulting from the COVID-19 outbreak. AmEx extension can be for 3 months, but it certainly applies to qualifying card accounts authorized from December 1, 2019, through May 31, 2020. Sentences apply.
As with the AmEx transfer, the Chase extension can be automated for eligible cardholders and does not require membership or any other movement.
