Arsenal transfer news LIVE: Arteta misses Spence as Gunners explore Raphinha deal

Jesus urged to snub Arsenal over Chelsea transfer
Stan Collymore believes Gabriel Jesus should snub a move to Arsenal and join Chelsea this summer.
The Manchester City ace is set to leave the Etihad in the coming weeks and is being pursued by the London duo.
But although Arsenal are long-time admirers of the Brazilian striker, Collymore thinks Jesus is better off moving to Chelsea as he fears Mikel Arteta isn’t good enough to get the most out of the City star.
Writing in his Mirror column, Collymore said: “There are rumors that Chelsea are sniffing around and I don’t think Arsenal will be the only club in the race for him this summer.
“But let’s say Arsenal catch him, my general worry and concern about Arsenal, as always, is whether we could trust Mikel Arteta to get the best out of Jesus, could he be the manager That makes him realize his potential, if Pep Guardiola couldn’t?I don’t think.
“But if he goes to Chelsea, he could be the player that Romelu Lukaku promised to be but didn’t. At Chelsea, they create lots of chances, they put the ball in the box and Jesus maybe the fox in the box that I so often said they needed. If Jesus was just focused on doing a really good job in the box, he could be that man.”
